Office Decor Chair Care
Fabric Upholstery
Chair upholstery should be vacuumed regularly. Protect from direct sunlight. Professional cleaning is recommended.
For spot cleaning:
Polypropylene and polyester fabrics – wipe clean with a damp cloth, or shampoo using upholstery shampoo. A mild citrus cleaner may also be used.
Wool and wool-blend fabrics – wipe clean with a solvent-based cleaner. Do not use a water-based cleaner as shrinkage may occur or a water stain may remain.
Task Chairs
The mechanical parts of your office chair require little or no maintenance.
The castors should be kept clear of threads or other objects that would inhibit their movement.
Plastic parts can be wiped clean with warm water and soap, or a mild citrus cleaner.
The gaslift contains pressurised gas and should not be tampered with in any way.
Café, Visitor & Community Chairs
Plastic and timber parts can be wiped clean with a smooth cloth dampened with warm water and soap, or a mild citrus cleaner. Do not apply a solvent-based cleaner or any abrasive cleaner, as these can damage the surface of the plastic or timber.
|
Metal parts should be dusted with a smooth cloth. Warm water and soap can be applied, but the metal should always be properly dried.
